Houston First time home buyers programs

Hello,

I wanted to know if anyone has done any of the programs and thought it was actually helpful when it came to purchasing your house?

I’m looking at the MCC (mortgage credit certificate) and the DPA (down payment assistance) programs.

Are there any other programs people would recommend for a 2 person household salary of 85K?
