Houston first city in Texas to create initiative to expand contracting with LGBTQ businesses

Mayor Sylvester Turner signed an executive order to ensure LGBTQ-certified suppliers have equitable access to contracting opportunities and economic development programs that drive innovation, create jobs, and promote economic growth throughout the city.
