Houston firms land major commercial space work from NASA
Two Houston-based firms reached major agreements with NASA this week to help commercialize space travel.
NASA selected Houston-based KBR Inc. (NYSE: KBR) as the first company to train private astronauts at NASA facilities, according to a Jan. 30 news release. KBR signed a Space Act Agreement with NASA Johnson Space Center to provide human spaceflight operation services to commercial companies.
