Houston DPS takes 3 months to get an appointment

I just moved back to Houston and I went to the DPS to change my license. They told me I needed to go to their webstie https://public.txdpsscheduler.com/ to schedule an appointment. No big deal, I went to the website, and the soonest available appointment is 11.5.2020. I was shocked……I went back to the DPS as I suspected there was a mistake but the DPS employee told me that was the correct wait time.

Anyone know a DPS office with smaller wait line? I looked at appointments in most counties from Houston to Hunstville and all the times were similar.
