Houston death care services co. hires Sysco exec as president, COO

Houston-based Carriage Services Inc. (NYSE: CSV), one of the nation’s largest publicly traded death care companies, has a new president and COO.

William “Bill” Goetz was appointed to the roles effective Dec. 1, according to a Dec. 2 filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Goetz was also elected to serve as a member of the company’s board of directors.
