Houston Dash hire former OL Reign coach as head coach

The Houston Dash named a new head coach as the team enters its 10th season in the National Women’s Soccer League.

Sam Laity is the team’s fourth head coach, the Dash announced Dec. 21. Laity has more than a decade of coaching experience, most recently as assistant coach for OL Reign. He also served as the Seattle team’s interim head coach in 2021, leading the Reign to a 4-2-0 record in six games.
