Houston Covid Hospital Numbers, Hospital Admissions

Her are some numbers so you can draw your only conclusions as I have drawn mine. Before anyone starts screaming, I am 3 shots in on Pfizer and wear an N95.

• Daily hospital admissions to Covid in Houston are at 327 per day. Fourteen days ago we were at 79 per day. That is an increase by a factor of 4.13.
• Total Covid in hospitals has gone risen to 1579 from 498 or an increase by a factor of 3.17.
• ICU Covid went from 250 to 142.

The bad news is that the numbers are up but no where near our worst. The good news is that the length of stays are short and the severity, based on the slower increase of ICU patients, is not rising as fast. Be smart, but if you have a comorbidity or someone in your home has one, be more smarter and more vigilant.
