Houston City Council votes Tuesday, 10/7, on closing Polk St.

The plan to expand the George R. Brown Convention Center would close off Polk St., one of the only streets connecting East Houston to downtown. Ian Hlavacek, who's with People for Polk, writes that there's still time to stop the closure.
