Houston chemical market intelligence firm Chemical Data acquired by ICIS

Houston-based Chemical Data LLC, a provider of petrochemical market analysis services, has been acquired by ICIS, a subsidiary of London-based RELX PLC (NYSE: RELX).

The acquisition became effective Monday, July 13, but terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Dean Curtis, president and CEO of ICIS based in London, declined to disclose how many Chemical Data employees joined the combined company through the acquisition. ICIS has hired around 100 new employees globally during the course of the Covid-19…
