Houston-based developer buys land for 3,000 homes in Katy area

Land Tejas is embarking on another Houston-area master-planned community with about 3,000 homes.

The Houston-based developer bought 1,039 acres along Clay and Pitts roads in Harris and Waller counties for the yet-unnamed community, according to a press release. The site is a few miles north of Interstate 10 and west of the Grand Parkway and is within the Katy Independent School District.
