Houston-based Cornerstone Capital Bank takes next step in evolution following unique deal

The bank was formed after Houston-based mortgage company Cornerstone Home Lending filed for a bank charter and acquired Roscoe-based The Roscoe State Bank in 2022. But because of the unique nature of the deal, the combined company couldn’t take its next step at the time.
