Houston Art Car Parade Line-Up

I was hoping to take my toddler to see the art car parade lining up – not the actual moving parade but the staging – has one one done this that can recommend where to park? I’ll be bringing my stroller but hoping I don’t have to walk blocks and blocks BEFORE we get to the blocks of cars I’m taking us to walk through.

Also any lunch recs near by would be great! I’m not often on that side of town.
