Houston Area WEEKEND Golf? WTF

Been in HTX (NRG area) for like five years now. Love to play golf…but gadDAYUMM why are area courses so expensive? Tour 18, for example is something like $115+ to play and it's WHACK for that price (might be a good value at around $50, I think). Cypresswood traditions is $105+, and their clubhouse is in a trailer, and it was like putting in your front yard last weekend. Same story at Wildcat, same story at Blackhorse. At this point, I'm considering just abandoning the game until prices normalize. Is anyone else looking at these prices kinda sideways?
