Houston Area Schools Accommodations for ADHD

Does anyone have any recommendations or cautionary tales with regards to houston area schools and their treatment of students with ADHD or similar needs for accommodations? Certain private schools seem to have it out for neurodivergent kids either blaming them for lack of success or otherwise pushing the families out of the school in favor of neurotypical kids. its been incredibly frustrating to experience the lack of support when paying so much money for what is supposed to be a better education and more resources as it seems the resources they pride are not to serve students who need it. Since Private schools are not required to accommodate differences or IEPs I am not sure it is worth considering other private schools and am thinking of moving to Spring Branch or River Oaks for a better public school option. Any feedback- good or bad would be welcome. my child isn't even close to the severe end of the spectrum yet we have had the absolute worst experience thus far and are preparing for the school to push us out or decline to accept us for next year.
