Houston-area restaurants make Texas Monthly, Esquire lists

A handful of Houston-area restaurants landed some noteworthy magazine accolades at the end of December.

Four local barbecue joints were recognized by Texas Monthly on a “Best Texas BBQ Bites of 2019” list. Texas Monthly only publishes its list of the 50 best barbecue joints in the state every four years, and the most recent one was in 2017.
