Houston-area community college to build new League City campus

The College of the Mainland, a public, two-year community college in Texas City, is opening a new facility in League City at the site of the former League City United Methodist Church. 

The college’s board of trustees unanimously approved the new facility Dec. 11, according to a press release. The facility will be used for both general education and dual-credit classes.
