Houston-area airports receive over $200M in federal relief

Airports in and around Houston have been allocated over $200 million in relief funds, thanks to the Airport Grant Program included in the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act.

U.S. Transportation Secretary Elaine L. Chao announced the award of approximately $10 billion to commercial and general aviation airports nationwide on April 14.
