Houston approves framework agreement as it seeks to host 2028 Republican National Convention

If chosen for the 2028 Republican National Convention, the city of Houston could expect upward of 50,000 visitors in either July or August of 2028, with the bulk of activity hosted at the Toyota Center and the George R. Brown Convention Center.
