Housing Questions

Hi Houstonians, (Houstonites? someone please correct me here)

I'm a college student who accepted a summer internship in Houston. I will be working in the general area around Fairbanks/NorthwestCrossing. I am currently looking at housing in the general area around Greater Heights or Woodland Heights.

Is there anything that I should know before I close on this temporary lease or like any recommendations for highlights that I have to do while I'm here? Thank you !
