Hotel Recommendations for Astros and Mariners July 8

Hello Everyone! I am inquiring about where is everyone's favorite place to stay for an Astros game and why! I haven't been downtown and I do not know if it's safe or how the nightlife is. It's me (M25) and my gf (F24) going as a birthday gift for me. Going for the weekend!
