Horseback riding for beginners?

So, my mom is a big BIG fan of the show ‘Heartland’ and she LOVES horses. I want to give her a good gift for Christmas that she’ll be able to appreciate and remember. I don’t know ANYTHING about riding horses, so I’m looking for places that are beginner friendly for learning and that have a pretty view. My price range isn’t ginormous since I’m still a teenager, so please let me know what you guys paid if you’ve done it. Just give the prices, I appreciate all. Thank you!
