Hopkins Crazy Trade Conspiracy

So I have a theory about the Hopkins trade and I will start out by saying this, Yes I know this sounds crazy an the likelyhood of it happening is VERY slim to none.

So today I was trying understand this trade. Why would trade an All-Pro for peanuts and a RB that had a few good years before getting injured along with having a huge contract? Is Bill O'Brien really this dumb? I kinda believe it, but even if he was that stupid Bill has advisors around him for this very same situation. So I believe there is more behind this and I hope there is.

Before I talk about the Hopkins trade lets go all the way back to the 2017 season. As we all remember Duane Brown was in the midst of a holdout so Houston traded him to Seattle. Originally the deal was

SEATTLE GETS: • Duane Brown

HOUSTON GETS: • 2019 2nd • 2018 5th • Jeremy Lane

I remember every including myself was upset about the trade. Like who the hell was Jeremy Lane? However when Lane came down to Houston to do his physical he failed it and to my knowledge the team doctor is the one who decides if the player passes or not. So when Jeremy Lane failed they had to renegotiate the deal and after that Houston was able to get a 2018 3rd and a 2019 2nd.

Now lets jump to the Hopkins trade with Arizona. It's obvious that we got screwed. However I think there was a reason Bill Chose David Johnson and it because he would be the "out". Once NFL Travel ban gets lifted and Johnson comes to Houston to do his physical, but guess what the same thing will happen to him that happened to Jermey Lane. Houston will fail him when he does his physical. So when the happens both teams will need to renegotiate the trade. When it gets to this point if might be a month or so after the initial trade so the Cardinals as an organization and the fanbase will be just that more invested in Hopkins and pay more than what they originally would had. So because of that we would send them out 2020 4th or 3rd and in exchange we would receive their 1st rounder which sits at 8th overall and use that to draft a Stud WR like Juedy that can be that #1 target. The most important part is his cap hit would be minimal.

Again I know this is crazy and most likely won't happen, because Bill O'Brien is actually and idiot, but boy would this be amazing if Hopkins would had never gotten traded….
