Honest opinions of Taste of Texas?

Hey y'all – so my husband and I will be going to Taste of Texas for the first time in December to celebrate our 14th anniversary. I have always heard mixed reviews about it so just wanted to ask here to see what people think.

I have heard that the salad bar is to die for but get differing feedback on the steaks and everything else.
