Honest dentist inside the loop? +my experience recently.

Went to the Village Dentist which is close to me/had good reviews. My appointment was ok, but I was told I had 4 cavities and gingivitis which I’m surprised about considering I’ve had regular visits and cleanings when I lived out of town (2x/year for like 5 years) and haven’t had any cavities in at least 15 years but ok.

Was shilled a $40 toothpaste and a $50 mouthwash and when I asked about an alternative drugstore mouthwash in the meantime while I waited for my FSA next year, was told nothing compares. Gee thanks.

And for having so many cavities, my cleaning was very quick and not as thorough as the previous practice I’d go to. Like wtf? But that was when I lived out of town, otherwise I’d go back.

Anyway, beware of this place. The Dr was nice enough but I ended up cancelling my fillings appointment bc stuff just rubbed me the wrong way. Looking for an honest dentist and somewhere to get a better cleaning done.
