Home Buying in Towne Lake

Fellow Houstonians,

I’m looking to buy newly constructed home in Towne Lake but just can’t get over the fact of how fast the prices have sky rocketed! Last year (December 2020), the same house floor plan we were looking at was 400k and currently, it’s now at 525k. I know this is due to covid, lumber, etc etc… but my main concern is…Am I buying at peak value? How much more can the house appreciate if buying at such a high price. Also, any housing market/industry experts out there that can give me some advice/tips?
