Hobby Airport – How long does it typically take to get checked bags after a flight?

I'm flying into Hobby Airport via Southwest, and debating whether or not to check luggage.

From what I've read/seen it appears to be a pretty small airport. My home town's airport is very small, so I'm used to being off the plane and out of the airport in 20 mins tops with luggage in hand. I've also only flown to larger airports where it's expected to take at least 30 mins.

We land at 12:05pm. There's a shuttle that departs at 12:35pm to our destination. The next one isn't until 2pm.

Would I be cutting it way too close to check bags?

(I'm not new to traveling, just never been to Hobby!)
