History of the montrose long gone.
One of my sons came over a felonious monk and I were having breakfast as I was sharing how much of it changed.
My kid's eyes widened a bit as I seemed to casually recall some of the more salacious parts of history, but struggled at some others.
I'm posting this to see if any older folk like me can add anything I might have forgotten about.
Tribal hut: Located, we're the shake shack, which was previously a burger king.
Charlie's: where the underbelly building is/ was, which is where Bacchus (lesbian) bar complex was.
Mary's: where blacksmith (and many ashes interred) is.
Boot's: S&M shop (and where I purchased my infamous Saint Andrew's cross) where assassin's tattoo shop resides.
Adult video store: kamalan bakery. Those floors will never be clean.
One's a meal: where live nation is currently housed.
Adult video store: where an officer was killed. Now is the location of the pit room.
A string of older homes that used to be brothels, are mostly strip centers.
The mining company: now an Italian restaurant. Those floors won't be cleaned enough either.
Tower theater… was a dance club, now a restaurant.
I can't seem to remember the names of the restaurant on Grant near mining company, or the one on Taft at westheimer…
not surprising considering my state at those times.
