This is not cases, this is hospitalizations. People don't go to the hospital because its a fun side trip. They go when they're really sick. If you have detailed questions, go look it up here. On the same slide deck, it looks like maybe new cases has rolled over, thankfully, and due to people re-masking and vaxxing… not because the COVID Fairy was told by a politician to lighten up.
