High school endorsement

I’m not too familiar with what a “high school endorsement” is. I have a family member graduating next week and they informed that they are graduating with a high school endorsement

Apparently this is in texas where students who are shy of meeting the state requirement of credits completed are able to graduated on some sort of “plan”?

I tried looking some stuff but most stuff leads to the official website explaining it (not helpful explanation)

Does this mean my family member will be walking/ reviving a high school diploma? She did mention she won’t be able to apply to a four year university. I tried to probe her for info but she doesn’t know and she hasn’t had time to ask a counselor
