Hey a Canadian here,

Hey everyone , hope everything is having an amazing day

I have a relative that is transiting in Houston Tx, and has a number of questions,

I. They told her that she has to claim customs, (can someone explain to me what do they mean, does it mean , basically claiming the valuable that she has on her handbags , or all her luggage).

II. If I am coming from the East Coast of Canada and their (1st transit) is in Toronto and then (2nd Transit) Houston, and the final destination is Central America. Does my relative need to pick up the bag in Toronto prior to go through American Customs in Toronto Pearson Airport or do they do it in George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) .
