Herniated disc surgery for dog

Has anyone gone to A&M for an MRI + herniated disc surgery for their dog? If so, how much did they quote you? I just got done with an appointment through gulf coast and they quoted me between 8,000 and 10,000 for MRI + spinal tap + corrective surgery
