Here’s the final number of restaurants Landry’s acquired in Houlihan’s deal

The parent company of Leawood, Kansas-based Houlihan’s Restaurants Inc. closed 16 restaurants throughout the U.S. in December, and all but two were Houlihan’s Restaurant + Bar locations.

HRI Holding Corp. rejected the leases as part of its bankruptcy proceedings and received court approval to sell substantially all of its assets to Houston-based Landry’s Inc., which owns and operates more than 600 restaurants, hotels, casinos and entertainment destinations.
