Helping abused women

Hello Houstonians! I recently met a woman who moved from another state to live with a man in a condition where she would get herself started in Houston and be able to start her new life here. At first everything was going well, but unfortunately the man started abusing her, and to make it even worse the girl is pregnant and he still abuse her! I did offer help, but since I am a single man I know she have doubts and fear given what she went through. Is there any organizations in Houston that offer help or shelter to abused women who got nowhere to go, no family, no friends, and no car? From my understanding that she have a job, she just need a little bit of help to get out of this situation and be in a place where she feels safe.
