Helpful Voter Registration Information

Afternoon y’all,

I just wanted to share some information in regards to the upcoming presidential election. Nothing annoys me more than people who do not vote, but express loud opinions on this left leaning echo chamber, also know as r/houston. Here it is:

When is Election Day?

November 3rd, 2020

Early Voting

Tuesday, October 13th- Friday, October 30th

Am I registered to vote?

You can always check your status here: https://teamrv-mvp.sos.texas.gov/MVP/mvp.do

Voting registration deadline

In person: October 5th

By mail: (postmarked by) October 5th

Where do I get the application?

https://webservices.sos.state.tx.us/vrapp/index.asp

Print it, sign it, and mail it to the voter registrar in your county of residence.

Can’t afford postage?

You may request a postage-paid application from your voter registrar, by filling out this form so that a voter registration application can be mailed to you

Visit any Harris County Tax Office location and submit your completed, signed form from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Do I need my voting registration card in order to vote?

No. Just take a government issued picture ID. (Don’t understand how this became controversial)

As of today, 08/19/2020:

Election Day is 76 days away.

Voting Registration deadline is 47 days away.
