Help with bad parking design - smashed rear view!

Hi everyone, looking for any advice or help you may have. Today I visited a business with parking in the Aspire Apartments on Post Oak and San Felipe. I backed up into this space, driving carefully and slowly because the parking is tight. (White Bronco) My parking sensor and rear view camera didn’t beep or alert that I was bout to hit anything – then suddenly my entire rear windshield smashed. Got out to see what happened, as you can see this wall has a huge jut that sticks out about 3ft. The corner of it went straight into my windshield as I backed up. The corner of the wall where it tapers off of also in the very middle of the parking spot, so it is VERY easy to break a window without noticing. I noticed another car parked 2 spaces down (white Benz) from me had the same issue with a smashed windshield, however their spot had a yellow bollard underneath the wall blocking a car from driving into it. My spot did not have the yellow bollard, and because the corner sticks out so far and is so tall (about 4ft) my parking sensor didn’t notice it. The fact that someone else had the same issue as me with a broken windshield tells me this must happen a lot.

I saw a valet guy parking the apartment residents car in the garage and he said this happens all the time, and in fact the valet drivers are NOT allowed to park customers/residents cars in these exact spaces to avoid this issue. He told me because he actually crashed a clients car into the wall, that was the reason they later installed those yellow bollards seen in the photos.

My question is – do I have anything on my side to file against the building? There are so signs indicating this is a terrible parking design. There is also broken glass all over the floor against this side of the wall, obviously from cars who have had the same issues.
