help w/trashy EaDo Alliance Residential construction site – contacts?
TL/DR: Sick of personally cleaning up around this site, trying to reach Jay W or any Alliance employee.
I live (too) close to the new apartment complex under construction by Alliance Residential at Leland and St Charles, and have two (trashy) issues I need their help with:
- Where the workers park along St Charles, there is constant litter of water bottles, energy drink cans, lunch waste, and even construction debris. I do not pick up ON their site, but I do occasionally personally pick up all the loose garbage across the street along the church side of St Charles all the way from Leland to Polk. Today I picked up 2/3 full green trash bag. It is a disgusting mess. I have tried repeatedly to call, email, text, etc to ask for their help resolving this issue. I've emailed Jay W, the GC on the site, multiple time with pictures, and have had absolutely zero response. Today I tried to call every other employee I could. Couldn't reach a live soul aside from the poor long-suffering receptionist (who was absolutely lovely but also couldn't get a live voice on the phone).
- Unrelated to the Alliance site, there is a dump/pile of garbage on St Charles (coincidentally across the street from the site, but I don't think it is directly related, just another Houston dumping problem). There have been many 311 tickets opened on this from me and my neighbors, but the city keeps coming out to clean it up and finds it blocked in by the Alliance employees. Rather than the city employee getting out of the truck and asking Alliance to move some cars, the dump/pile just gets bypassed with a note that it is 'inaccessible due to cars' parked there. Ugh. We need to get Alliance on the phone so that we can ask them to open this area up/make a few spaces 'no parking' for a week or two for the city, but we cannot reach an Alliance Residential employee to ask for their cooperation.
If any Redditors have any way to get in touch with management at Alliance Residential, we would be very, very grateful for your help!
Sincerely,
Neighbors of Alliance Residential project
