Help this Houston transplant with mosquitoes overrunning my house!

Hi everyone! I'm originally from a dry arid place that sprays fruit trees regularly and so the mosquitoes are a problem I have no idea how to deal with. There's no standing water near our house and to my knowledge the house itself is sealed up pretty well (no gaps under doors, all windows closed etc). We even had a pest control company come and spray a few months ago. Despite all of this, I have bites all over my body. I see mosquitoes around the house (maybe 1-2 daily?) and kill as many as I can. Is there a trap I can use? Some magic southern voodoo to avoid being bitten? I am at my wits end after nights of poor sleep from itching and waking up to find new bites. Please share your wisdom!
