Help Support an Awesome Local Arcade in the NW Houston Area
| |
Hi everyone, Recently I was looking through a Facebook page of one of my favorite establishments, "Mr. Pixels Classic Arcade". I was shocked to see that they are not sure whether they can make ends meet to extend their lease after October 31st. "Mr. Pixels" is a retro classic arcade with several classic arcade games and pinball machines from the 80s-90s. Just trying to get the word out and see if more people are interested in checking it out (and no, I am not affiliated with this arcade, I am just a concerned citizen and local customer trying to help a local business). Personally I enjoy going to this place and would hate to see it go. This arcade is unique and has an "old school neighborhood arcade" feel to it, which is what I feel the other bigger classic arcades in Houston don't have. They are in the NW part of Houston, around the Jersey Village area. 9110 Jones Rd Suite 135 It is open Thurs – Friday (5pm-10pm), Sat (2 pm-10 pm), and Sun (2 pm – 8 pm). And cost is $10 for unlimited play ($5 on Thursdays, last time I was there). Again, just trying to get the word out to help out this place during this crucial month of their lease. Help support local businesses! Hopefully we can keep this place alive and continue to provide options for us classic arcade gamers in Houston. Thanks in advanced everyone! submitted by /u/Disastrous-Bonus3293 |
