Help my power bill is gigantic

I am a 20 year old collage student who just got his own place. I use griddy because my mom said it was the cheapest company. I don't use much power on a day to day bases and I just checked my power bill to find out I've been charged 1200 dollars in the last couple days. I cannot afford this is there anything I can do to refute the charges.
