Help me find my mom’s old friend?

His name is Reese, I do not have a last name, she lost his number & she has passed away. She described him as Pakistani/Black, tall man. My mom and bio dad lived in what she only called 5th & 4th ward, when it was really, really bad. Apartments. This man was a leader of, y'all know what, I was never told which he was that leader of. His sister was also one of females. He made a promise to my mom when we left & I've been trying to find him for years. I know they aren't the best people to be friends with, this guy actually fell in love with my mother, protected her as well, she wouldn't go off with him because the kind of stuff he ran was pretty brutal. Actually extremely brutal.

I don't know if he's in prison, dead or what. I do not know what his people and him called themselves, or I'd probably have this figured out by now..
