Help me build an itinerary for late 20s friends visiting!

Hello all! I have some friends coming to town for a bday weekend, and really want to show them the wide breadth of all that Houston has to offer – from a fun nightlife scene to the culture to the amazing variety of food we have. I'm from the suburbs, so haven't really played tourist in my own city much, but would love your advice. Here are the things I have in mind (not married to these, just what I can think of; open to any suggestions) –

We'll be coming from Sugarland but will have cars and don't mind traveling.

Things I want us to hit – going out of some kind (Montrose, downtown, midtown, Heights? need specific recs please bc I have no clue), Museum District, Buffalo Bayou area

Food cuisines I want to take them to – east Asian of some kind (Mala's, viet cuisine, or fusion?), new American (made a dinner reservation at Nancy's Hustle, but open to other suggestions if this is not in a poppin area), Aga's for Indian/Paki, Bbq if we can fit it in? and ofc any good coffee/pastry/brunch spots too closeby to other activities

They'll be coming into town from Austin on Friday afternoon/evening and leaving Sunday afternoon/evening. Feeling the pressure of planning a fun poppin weekend, so would love any guidance yall have!
