Help! How long is the Thanksgiving Day Parade in Downtown Houston?

So my in-laws are coming into town for Thanksgiving with my parents for the first time. We usually do lunch at 1pm in Clear Lake. However, my wife and I live closer to downtown so her parents got a room at the downtown Hyatt… the end point of the parade route 😳. I’m trying to solve the old school word problem of “can wait until after the parade and make it to my parents house for lunch or not?” The problem is I don’t know how long the parade lasts and there’s little no info about the end time online. I’m hoping there are a few seasoned parade-goers who might be able to get me out of this Turkey day dilemma. Thanks in advance!
