Help a NYC transplant

Good Morning,

It's been a month an a half since I moved from NYC. I was driving for uber back there. I tried doing that in Houston but it's not the same market money wise. Even before moving here I was thinking to look into a career that will help me and my family financially.

I have done associates in Business Administration and so far I am getting no responses from all the jobs I have applied to.

What skills can I study/learn/do in 3-6 months where I can be in demand and hopefully land a job with good career prospects?

Any suggestions and advice will be highly appreciated. Thanks.
