Heights to TMC commute help

Hi everyone. Will be moving to Houston this coming fall and will be working in the Texas med center (will have garage parking).

I have heard construction in the heights has gotten worse within the past year – however it is one of my top choices to live in. As many have said, the walkability and stuff to do around that area just makes it so appealing.

How bad would y’all say the commute is from upper or even lower heights to the TMC on an average day? Any work arounds that y’all have found helpful? Thank you guys.
