Hearing matching band in the distance from Montrose

We live in central Montrose, two blocks south of the corner of Montrose and Westheimer. Often (especially on weekends) we hear a full-on marching band clearly in the distance. Surely this cannot be coming from U of H or TSU, as both are over 2 miles away?
