Hcad property tax protest
I filled a property tax protest 4 weeks a go and just received a reply from HCAD. The market value has decreased from 412,000 to 390,000 but the Appraisal value stayed the same at 387,000$. Does the market value help my tax if the appraisal stayed same. Should i decline and go for formal hearing?
