HCAD delays deadline for businesses to file personal property updates, citing coronavirus

In light of the ongoing COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, local businesses will have an additional month to update the Harris County Appraisal District on the amount of personal property they have.

Businesses in Harris County are required to outline for HCAD all tangible personal property used to produce income. Those filings, known as renditions, must include information about things like computers, desks, chairs, office supplies, business inventory, machinery and vehicles used to produce income.
