HBJ names longtime Wells Fargo exec as lifetime achievement recipient for 2021 Most Admired CEO Awards

The Houston Business Journal has named Darryl Montgomery, who recently retired from his role as Wells Fargo & Co.’s region bank president for Houston South, as the 2021 Most Admired CEO Lifetime Achievement Award recipient.

Montgomery began his career at San Francisco-based Wells Fargo & Co. (NYSE: WFC) nearly 40 years ago. He joined the company in 1982 as a credit manager in Alabama and served in various roles, working his way up the company.
