Known for its Texas-inspired cuisine and ample selections of whiskey and wine, Haywire will open its third and largest location in Houston on Monday, June 3.

The spacious 20,000-square-foot interior features multiple levels of lofty dining and event spaces. Among plush leather seats and wooden tables, the award-winning restaurant features a 2,000-square-foot Party Barn that includes more than 100 seats and a separate bar.

“Houston holds a special place in our hearts, and we’re thrilled to connect with the community as we unveil the uniquely Texas Haywire experience,” Haywire’s vice president of operations Judd Fruia said in a press statement.

Founded in 2017, the FB Society concept joins other growing establishments led by CEO Jack Gibbons, including Whiskey Cake, Sixty Vines, and Velvet Taco. Haywire locations in Plano and Dallas have become known for plates such as the Wagyu tomahawk ribeye and chicken fried steak. At the first Houston location, visitors can expect to find a collection of more than 400 bottles of wine and 200 whiskey options and a menu that celebrates elements of Texas living. The lump crab, its nod to the Texas Gulf Coast, and other menu items, like its signature elk tacos and queso blanco, are evocative of the Tex-Mex and Southwestern cuisines that shape the region.
