Have you ever worked for the city of Houston?

I've applied for a few positions and was interviewed for one and was offered to move forward with the hiring process. It's and entry level job and i imagine doesn't pay that well, but I'd be excited to work in the public sector. My only concern would be that I might end up in a position where I can't move up or get raises etc.

FYI the job is in the general services Dept if that makes any difference. Thanks, in advance for any input!
